Mision Statement

The mission of Nesb Sports AAU is to promote and encourage enhancement of basketball skills outside of the school basketball environment. We want to build on current skills and prepare our players for high school and beyond using the experiences of former professional basketball player Tyrone Nesby. Our goal is to produce players that will excel in basketball and life.

Nesb Sports AAU follows the guidelines set forth by the AAU. Each player, coach, administrator will maintain a membership with the AAU in order to abide by the guidelines and be eligible to participate in AAU tournaments.

Philosophy

Nesb Sports is a performance team, meaning players earn their playing time through performance, sportsmanship and attitude in practice and tournaments. There is no guarantee of equal playing time or a dedicated amount of playing time. We follow this philosophy because we want to encourage our players to maximize their potential by providing an environment conducive to producing results. In high school and beyond, basketball players must earn their time and we want to instill the drive in our players as youths, so they are prepared to fight as they advance through basketball where competition is more fierce and only the top will be selected.
